Folds of Honor Foundation
http://www.foldsofhonor.org/
Children's Scholarship Fund Folds of Honor Foundation is committed to the families of the armed services who have been wounded or killed while serving our great nation. We salute these heroic men and women, and have consequently established Folds of Honor Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) to ensure no military family is left behind or forgotten. FHF through the Children’s Scholarship Fund seeks to provide scholarships for Primary and Secondary Education (K through 12) for children of service members killed or 90 to 100 % disabled while serving in a combat zone in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation New Dawn (OND).
Children of deployed service members are particularly vulnerable to stresses and trauma related to a parent(s) serving in a combat zone for an extended period of time. Repeat deployments, the loss of parents and parents suffering from combat-related injuries have dramatically impacted our children. As a nation, it is our responsibility to do whatever we can to support military families. CSF scholarships exist to subsidize the costs of tuition, approved tutoring, school uniforms, schoolbooks, fees, after school educational programs, and approved educational summer camps.

The Hugs Project
http://www.thehugsproject.com/
Our most pressing need are items for Marines and National Guard members who have been sent to Afghanistan (where the worst of the fighting is taking place). They are stationed deep in enemy territory where we haven’t been before. The only water and supplies they have is what they can carry in on their backs.
When they finally get a break and can receive mail from home, we want them to find care packages overflowing with snacks, hygiene items, DVD’s and CD’s, Oreos, socks and other much needed items. Most of all, we want them to experience the love we’ll be tucking inside, along with cooling ties and other items.
Packing these boxes with items, and sending them out costs a lot of money. Whether you can help by sending us items to pack, or with monetary donations, any amount of help is appreciated. For a list of some items that we use in care packages, visit our Care Package Items page, or visit our Donation page to donate to our cause. Anything that is donated goes directly to supplies and care package items.
You can learn more about how you can become involved by sending an email via our Contact page. We are happy to help you get started supporting some of America's finest young men and women.
